Anak Alam in visual art scene in Malaysia is equivalent to that ASAS 50 in Malay literature movement. Anak Alam is one of its kind, at the time (1970s) to have successfully gather and synergized the visual art movement pioneered by veteran artists such as Latiff Mohidin, Ali Mabuha, among others, in Malaysia. This exhibition therefore not only captures the creative works produced by the artists, but also the archival record such as zines, letters, shrits, and old catagogue; significantly a thorough exhibitional-research conducted by the Curator, Faizal Sidik.
On 6th August 2026, the exhibition was successfully officiated by Tan Sri Johan Jaafar, an ardent member of Anak Alam who also involved closely with the art movement.
