INTRODUCTION
This exhibition showcases 84 artworks by former exhibitors of the University of Malaya Art Gallery (GSUM). There are 501 unclaimed artworks from GSUM exhibitors currently held in GSUM's collection. In light of this, the exhibition is organized as a collection management and conservation strategy, to accelerate the reclaiming process of the artworks and to promote GSUM and the visual arts in general.
The exhibited works are curated based on schools of thought, artist groups, techniques, and media used. Additionally, three artworks that have undergone deterioration in condition are displayed for the purpose of learning the 'condition assessment'.
